Additional Comments:

The Creative/GUI Department of most new-media companies is responsible for a large portion of the company’s success. This is especially true when the company’s revenue stream is, in fact, derived from an internet or online product. The ability to visually satisfy the online end-user not only decreases the skepticism he/she may feel toward the company at first glance, it also invites them to interact with the product.

Three items are essential to the success of a web-based product: Good design, usability, and content. Any failure in presenting these items effectively to the end-user will result in fewer users, and lost revenue.

The position of Creative/GUI Department has been established to enhance the profitability of Spark Networks Limited by providing creative expertise and technical knowledge for the following:

  • Ensuring excellence from creative conceptualization through development
  • Creating company’s overall visual appearance of product(s)
  • Seamlessly integrating all product promotional and branding messages
  • Maintaining consistency of the original product in ancillary product(s)
  • Executing final creative component deployment and delivery
  • Synergizing content navigational structure and appearance into powerful user experiences
  • Identity of the company on both corporate and end-user level
  • Assisting with creative ideas to “incentivize” the customer
  • Participating in the efficient coordination and management to meet/exceed the firm’s strategic and tactical product management, brand strategy, events and sales and marketing goals and objectives
